Spotted Summer Trend: The Milkmaid Braid
Braids have staged a major comeback taking over both the red carpet and the city sidewalks with equal force. You want it to look more natural and effortless”.
Here Angelina shares some tips for the do-it-yourself gal wanting to achieve the perfect milkmaid braid:
STEP 1: For straight hair, start prepping the hair with Oribe Misty Super Fine Hair Spray for greater grip. For curly/frizzy hair, apply a dollop of Oribe Creme for Style. This will smooth hair and soften the cuticle.
STEP 2: Section hair and lift it about 1' from root to allow you to play with hair as you braid it. Use elastic band to hold ends together. Use large bobby pins (about 1") and secure braids as desired. You can either go for the parted on the side look or simply wrap braid around entire head.
STEP 3: Finish with Oribe Anti-Humidity Impermeable Spray to prolong life of your braid in humid days!
