The Donato Salon and Spa team had the great pleasure of supporting the Lingerie Francaise Event that happened at The Fermenting Cellar in the Distillery on July 27th.

The Donato Salon and Spa hairstyling team created sultry, voluminous, flowing locks fitting to the occasion.  

France met T.O. and showcased spectacular French lingerie brands and collections. A total of five brands were featured on the catwalk, including Lejaby, Princesse tam-tam, Simone Pérèle, Empreinte, and Gerbe.

The event was a huge success from the garments, to the models, to the styling masterminds, this year's show was phenomenal. Inspired by "sirens of the silver screen", the show was divided up into five segments for each brand, with a short performance for each one.

Kudos to the Donato Team of Stylists, including: Quynh, Patrick, Stephanie, Katie, and Abbas, for their wonderful work and beautiful hairstyles.

When it’s Makeover Extravaganza Day on the Marilyn Dennis Show, they call on Celebrity Stylist, John Donato with Donato Stylists Misha and Christina.

Three lucky women from across Canada were selected for a day they would never forget as they were completely transformed from head to toe including hair, makeup and wardrobe.

Carola, 41, from Alberta told John that as part of her makeover, wanted a Jennifer Aniston inspired haircut.  

This look was taken to new heights with a beautiful cinnamon themed hair colour, and turned this horse rancher into a Classy Cowgirl.

Next up was Shawna, a 26 year old daycare worker by day and student by night, from Vancouver. 

Shawna who lived in hoodies and track pants, allowed John free reign with her hair giving him creative freedom.

John’s vision included bright, vibrant blonde haircolour complemented by a short, asymmetrical graduated bob including hair feather extensions.

During the reveal, the audience exploded into applause as this dramatic makeover took everyone’s breath away.

Shawna appeared on stage with a new found confidence as a Sexy Siren. 

The final makeover of the day was Stacey from Orangeville who is a 39 year old farmer. 

Stacey had recently begun her own makeover losing 30lbs and wanted to complete her transformation on the Marilyn Dennis Show on Makeover Extravaganza Day with a new feminine look.

Deciding to cut her hair quite short with a stunning warm brown colour, Stacey’s journey is complete as during the reveal she said “I didn’t recognize myself!”
